MSc presentation: Bootstrapping the 3d Ising Model
Seminar in materials theory: Theoretical investigations of magnetocaloric materials
Seminar in materials theory: Non-local Gilbert damping within the torque-torque correlation model
Seminar: When the NMSSM Meets the LHC: Conventional Higgs Searches and the Power of Mono-Higgs
Weekly nuclear and high energy physics seminar about mono-Higgs signatures and possible Higgs to Higgs and Higgs to neutralino decays at the LHC as a way to explore the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM).
Seminar: Multiscale multiphysics modelling of electrical breakdown phenomenon
Special physics seminar about an atom-level theoretical model of surface behaviour under high electric fields in order to understand vacuum arc electrical breakdowns at future particle colliders such as CLIC.
BSc presentation: Entanglement and the black hole information paradox
Bachelor 15pt project presentation: Quantum Speed Limits of Spin Chain Dynamics
Seminar: Planet Signatures in Transition Disks
Seminar with Nobel Laureate Frank Wilczek: Time Crystals - New States of Matter
Symmetry, and the spontaneous breaking of symmetry, are dominant themes in modern physics. Time translation is perhaps the most fundamental of symmetries, and the question of its breaking raises new conceptual issues.
Spring Conferment Ceremony
The Conferment Ceremony is a ceremony for all who have completed their PhDs during the year. The people of Uppsala recognise the day because cannon salutes are fired in the morning and during the actual ceremony. Apart from new PhDs, jubilee doctorates will also be conferred during the Spring Conferment Ceremony.
Seminar: Gauge theories of partial compositeness.
Seminar: Branes and the Kraft - Procesi transition
Summer closing ceremony for master students
We would hereby like to invite you to a ceremony at Uppsala castle for all students completing one of Uppsala University's Master's programmes. The ceremony is organized in collaboration with the student unions and Uppsala's student nations.
