An international summer school organized by universities and institutes from four Nordic countries, aimed at Bachelor and Master students in Physics and Engineering.

The Nordic Particle Accelerator Summer School aims at giving an introduction to the physics of particle accelerators for Bachelor and Master students in Physics and Engineering. The students will receive an introduction to accelerator based science and learn how modern particle accelerators work.

Lund is home to Scandinavia’s largest particle accelerator facilities, the European
Spallation Source (ESS) and the MAX IV Laboratory. Visits to both facilities will
take place during the school.

The school is sponsored by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program.
