Seminarium i materialteori: Temperature stability and dynamical properties of spin-polarons in La-doped CaMnO3
We present a theoretical study of spin-polaron dynamics in lightly La-doped CaMnO3. Spin-polaron formation in LaxCa1-xMnO3 has been observed by variety of the experimental methods. We aim to understand microscopic mechanisms underlying spin-polaron physics in this compound. It is not yet evident that a single type of cosmic accelerator can be responsible for the Ultra-High Energy Cosmic Rays (UHECR) and the high-energy neutrinos skies at the same time. It is important to address this question, since only UHECR observations seem insufficient for the discovery of these most violent cosmic accelerators.
